Guess When We Update?
Monday's and Thursdays! Awesome!
Happy Monday folks! Here's some darn fine artwork from Simon! Even he didn't remember what it was! Oh joy!
And we were so close... now what do we do?
Stay tuned!
Sometimes, you gotta look for help anywhere you can get it.
So as many of you know, I also do some good work over at GUNAXIN.com. My portfolio of stuff over there includes everything and anything from beer reviews to big-star interviews to lists about bizarre crap. Well yesterday I was working on a collection of movies featuring people who turn into bugs for some reason or another and, well, the subject matter just kind of got to me. Why am I itchy?
I don't often do topical humor, for no better reason than I just don't want to. But, I was watching Attack of the Show last night and they were going on and on about the iPhone 3G-s, so, I took the ball and ran with it. Enjoy!
It's Monday, and it's officially designated Kid's Day from now on! Woo Hoo! So today we have a picture of a zombii (yes, according to an accurate book I'm reading, that's how you really spell it) and in this case it a monster from 'Plants Vs. Zombies': a game that, if you're not currently playing, I'm not sure we can hang out anymore. Anyway, it's a zombii wielding 2, count 'em, two, telephone poles! If you've played the game, and my son loves it when I do, you know what I'm talking about. He hopes you like it! Oh, hope you all had a grand Father's Day! Mine was on point: I got a French Press!

Let's pause and reflect from our Beer story for a moment...
and then we'll move on.

MMmmmm.... ain't she just the cutest little horny devil you've ever seen? I guess she's gonna be helping us get this right the second time around. We'll see... we can mess up stuff pretty well.

When one has a direct link to the netherworld in the form of a crater in one's lavatory, one is often visited by strange and disturbing things. Couple that with the fact that those with said Hell Hole are under contract to brew a beer for the Prince of Darkness himself and have currently messed up the first attempt at that beer... well, then you got issues, man. Big issues. Luckily, as the guys have discovered, Lucifer can be a forgiving fellow. For now.

I thought a little repast from the Beer for Beezlebub story might be nice today, so, Simon (my 6-year old) knocked out another masterpiece for me yesterday. He says his name is Bob -he like that name- but he also said he wants someone else to name it, so, that ought to give you all an EXCUSE TO COMMENT! Have a hearty laugh and name this dude! Enjoy!

Happy Monday everyone! Guess what? It's beer tasting day for our very first batch! Now, I have to admit that this hits close to home as part of my job over at GUNAXIN.com is to review beers, sometimes fresh from a brewery. Luckily, those folks know what they're doing. We, on the other hand, don't. Enjoy, cuz we certainly didn't.
S-
Happy Friday everyone! So, as our first week in the Beer For Beezlebub saga comes to a close, it seems that the very first batch has been completed! Looks like we're gonna have to taste that mess, doesn't it? Well, stay tuned for Monday's comic to see just how...

The first batch is well on its way to completion... lucky for our heroes.
So, as we're now making a Dopplebock for the Devil, we, of course, have to follow specific ingredients and an ancient recipe... are you even surprised?
Ever since Doug 'accidentally' opened up a portal to Hell in Stew's bathroom (since, by the way, they do NOT live together, they just frequent one another's abode) nothing but odd and bizarre things have happened. Well, nothing could ever prepare them for a whole new adventure: brewing a beer for the Dark One himself... and I had better be a Hell of a tasty beer. Ha! So, here is episode one of the BEER FOR BEEZLEBUB. Enjoy!

So my little dude, Simon, was hit with a nasty bout of Strep Throat and an ear infection this weekend. He had to stay inside all day yesterday, and so he drew up a few cool cats for the comic. Enjoy!
So a few Fridays ago you were all introduced to the great artwork of Neil Bryer. Well Neil wasn't the only dude Doug and I used to hang out with back in the early nineties at the Kalamazoo City Comics 'Ferlbahoo', oh no. Another fella's name was Dustin Krcatovich who, in his own right, has become an amazing artist, too. Though he is currently working on something more akin to the actual comic, I thought for today I'd post a piece of his other work just for fun. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

I guess that the Cutie Zoo stuff doesn't count towards issues numbers so that would make this number 83. Woo! Awfully close to the big 1-0-0! Anyway, Stew asked if my youngest, Dan The Man would be interested in doing a strip. He said yes and then didn't draw anything! So, here is another of my feeble attempts at comedy. Hope it is beloved by all.
Plus: A BONUS COMIC! Oh JOY!
Ever since our 'guest strip' (see below) and his genius use of a portal to hell created in the guys' bathroom, it seems the story lines are endless! Well, I guess it's time to put out an open invitation:
TO ALL INTERESTED IN DOING A LITTLE PIECE OF FUNNY FOR THE STRIP, FEEL FREE! WE'D LOVE TO SHOWCASE THE WORK OF ANYONE REGARDLESS OF WEATHER OR NOT YOU CAN DRAW, WE JUST DON'T CARE! HOW DO I DO THIS, YOU'RE DOUBTLESS ASKING YOURSELF? WELL, EMAIL A PIC 750 X 600 (PIXELS) TO THE FOLLOWING: UNCLE.STEW@GMAIL.COM, AND I'LL DO THE REST! IT'S THAT SIMPLE! ANYWAY...
On with the show!
The Saga of the
Portal to Hell continues...
